No cooling at all? That's an emergency here.
A dead AC in Yuma isn't an inconvenience — indoor temperatures climb fast and it's genuinely unsafe for kids, older adults, and pets. We treat every "no cooling at all" call as urgent and prioritize accordingly.
How we prioritize
No-cooling calls jump ahead of routine maintenance and repair calls in our queue. Within no-cooling calls, we prioritize further by who's affected — households with infants, elderly residents, or anyone with a medical condition go first. Call as early in the day as you can; the queue fills fast once temperatures peak.
What counts as an emergency
No airflow or power
The system won't start at all, or nothing comes out of the vents even when it's running.
Burning smell or sparking
Turn off power at the breaker and call immediately — this is a safety issue, not just a comfort one.
Water actively leaking
Water pooling or dripping near the indoor unit, especially if it's spreading.
Won't shut off or won't turn on
A system stuck running constantly, or one that won't respond to the thermostat at all.
What to do while you wait
- Keep blinds and curtains closed to block direct sun
- Use fans to keep air moving through the house
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid using the oven or stove, which adds heat load
- If anyone in the house is medically vulnerable, move them somewhere cooler if indoor temps keep climbing

Is there an after-hours fee?
After-hours emergency calls may carry a separate rate from standard business-hours service. We'll quote that before dispatching, so you know the cost before we're on the way.
How do I know if it's really an emergency?
See the "what counts as an emergency" list above — no airflow or power, a burning smell or sparking, active water leaking, or a system that won't turn off or on. If you're not sure, call and describe what you're seeing.
Do you serve renters?
Yes — we work directly with tenants when authorized by the property owner or manager. Landlords and property managers, see our commercial HVAC page.
