Ductless Mini-Splits · Yuma County

Cool the room duct work can't reach.

Garages, additions, casitas, and detached shops don't always make sense to connect to central duct. A ductless mini-split gives that space its own independent cooling (and heating) without the cost of extending your existing system.

Common uses

Where mini-splits make sense

Garages & workshops

Spaces that run hot and aren't connected to the house system.

Home additions & casitas

New square footage without extending existing ductwork.

Converted attics or bonus rooms

Rooms the main system was never sized to reach.

Businesses with mixed-use spaces

See our commercial HVAC page for property-wide options.

Why ductless

Why ductless

No new ductwork required

The indoor and outdoor units connect through a small line set, not a full duct run — far less construction.

Room-by-room control

Each zone runs on its own thermostat, so you're not cooling space nobody's using.

Quiet operation

Indoor units run notably quieter than a traditional forced-air register.

Questions

Mini-split FAQ

How many rooms can one system cool?

Single-zone systems cool one room or open area; multi-zone systems can run several indoor units off one outdoor unit. We size this during the site visit.

Do mini-splits also heat?

Yes — most are heat pumps, which cool in summer and heat in winter from the same system. See our heat pump page.

Are they noisy?

No — indoor units are notably quiet compared to traditional forced-air registers.
